Our Story
At SJC Legacy, we cherish every project that has touched lives and built stronger communities.

Our Impact
Thanks to your support, we've improved essential services and created lasting change.
Charitable Work Established 2023
Background, mission, and small acts of kindness
It is for brothers who are interested in contributing funds, championing & delivering at least one big 'continuous' charity activity/practical initiative to bring goodness and comfort to others in memory of our SJC reunion group, for current members and those who have returned to our Lord (swt).
This work is in response to suggestions, by some brothers to utilise our collective strength and resource, to explore delivery of acts of continuous charity (water wells etc) that will outlast our lifetime, inshAllah.
Decision on what will be delivered on a rolling basis, with allocation of funds on specific acts of kindness around the world, will be taken by SJC Legacy Steering Group.
The idea, each year, will be presented to the SJC Reunion Organising Committee for information and participation. However, delivery will be via the SJC Legacy Group.
Contribution of funds is expected to be around £10-£100, or whatever amount, per year, and is voluntary.
Brother Ruhani will manage the fund collection, and contribution amount and names shall remain confidential with him alone, as requested.
Group membership of SJC Legacy Group is open. Anyone agreeing with our aims can join. Please suggest to Admin Team.
Ground rules for this group can be changed through majority decision. Focus is on doing good, not on ourselves or any one individual.
Let's keep our and our brothers' memory, past and present alive and growing in the good books of our deeds, a pleasant surprise and means of Mercy on the Day of Accountability & Reward, inshAllah.
As reminded to us in Surah Al-Asr, we take this as a task in encouraging and inviting each other to goodness.
Any questions and queries please raise directly with Admin Team.
Our conduct, behaviour, messages, disagreements shall at all times be respectful, polite, focused on issues and problem solving, delivering goodness.
Thank you for joining and helping. You joining this group signifies agreement with the above.
Jazakamullahu khayr.
